Joel Wein's Homepage
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and
Information Science at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU. I am
interested in scheduling and resource allocation, distributed systems,
multimedia, algorithms, optimization, security and gaming. In addition to my
academic life I spent much of 1999-2003 at Akamai Technologies as a Senior
Research Scientist and Engineering Director. I still work there part-time as an Engineering Fellow.
